vRealize Automation (vRA) error when connecting vcsa 5.5 appliance – “Trying to access remote SSO on host and port 7444, but the returned host is and port 7444.”
Following Vmware KB explains, how to fix this issue if you are using Windows based vCenter server.
Here are steps to resolve this issue on vCSA 5.5 appliance:
SSH to vCSA appliances
Login using “root” account and password
Enter following command. Replace “<correct FQDN>” with your appliance FQDN.
echo <correct FQDN> > /etc/vmware-identity/hostname.txt
Then run “cat /etc/vmware-identity/hostname.txt” command to verify that value (fqdn or ip) your provided is updated in the hostname.txt file
